Whalphabet’s "Ode to Parenthood" is showcased in the middle of Hong Kong during Art Basel from March 17-24 2023, on a stunning 70x20 meters LED display!

A huge thank you to Art Innovation Gallery for giving me the opportunity to participate in this exhibition called the Sound of Pixels. It's truly an honor to be featured among such talented artists and to have my work appreciated by art enthusiasts from all around the world.

A bit of background on the Whalphabet: As a father, I was inspired to create something deeply personal that expressed my feelings, hopes, and fears about parenthood. This collection consists of 36 unique artworks, each representing a letter or number and embodying fragments of my memories and emotions, all tied together with a profound love for my children.

With the Whalphabet, I wanted to leave a lasting legacy for my children, something that would persist through time and evolve alongside them. NFTs provided the perfect solution, allowing me to create an inalterable yet ever-evolving collection of memories.

This collection is more than a set of typographical black and white illustrations - it's my way of overcoming the existential dread of dying too soon as a parent and ensuring that a piece of me will always be with my children.

I am immensely grateful Art Innovation Gallery for providing the opportunity to showcase the Whalphabet, and I hope that my story resonates with others who may be facing similar fears and uncertainties.
